Scam alert: fake SSA warnings from +1‑877‑583‑4103
Summary — +18775834103
Expert Opinion
Oddly enough, the same digits keep surfacing in reports of federal‑agency impersonations. The 877‑583‑4103 prefix is being recycled by spoofers who masquerade as the Social Security Administration, DEA or other government offices, often delivering pre‑recorded warnings about suspended benefits or arrest warrants. This pattern shows how caller ID spoofing lets scammers borrow trusted brand names to boost credibility. Never share personal identifiers or click links from unsolicited calls, and always verify by calling the agency’s official number. Block the offending line through your carrier or a third‑party app, and report the incident to the FTC’s spam‑call portal. Stay vigilant and educate vulnerable relatives.
