Residential MD home warranty calls: how to stop them
Summary — +18778801634
Expert Opinion
Calls that drop after a few seconds of silence feel like a thinly veiled sales pitch. The number 877‑880‑1634 is linked to a group of home‑warranty marketers that operate under names like Residential MD, Cross Country and Home Sure Services. They often claim to need your address to “verify” a warranty, then push a subscription that can be auto‑charged to your bank account. Registering the number on your phone’s block list, confirming your spot on the national Do Not Call registry, and refusing to provide personal data are the safest steps. If you notice unauthorized charges, dispute them with your bank and report the caller to the FTC.

Residential MD Gold sent me a letter regarding home services I had never enrolled in, complete with a fictitious contract number, and have since been calling constantly, which I believe is a scam and caution others about.
Interestingly, I have Residential MD insurance on two properties, and they've paid out on three claims, but the call I missed from this number raises questions about their solicitation practices.
For those with elderly relatives who have landlines, it's a good idea to check any unknown caller IDs on Google, and if they're scams, to label them as such in the phonebook, so your relatives know not to answer those calls.
A possible solution to unwanted calls is to play your favorite song at high volume into the phone's speaker.
After receiving a call with only silence on the other end, I contacted the company and spoke with a customer service representative. I requested to be removed from their call list, and the representative assured me that my number and name were added to their do-not-call list, with a removal period of up to three days.
Following my purchase of a NetTalk phone, numerous calls have been made from this number, yet none have resulted in a message being left.

This number is associated with multiple companies, including Residential MD, Homesure of America Inc, and Cross Country Home Services Inc.
Unauthorized charges were discovered on the user's bank account summary, totaling $164.85, with no recollection of a phone call or requested service from the unknown entity.
It has come to my attention that Home Sure Services, Inc has been deductions from my Wells Fargo account without my consent, amounting to 54.95 dollars monthly, which were reportedly sent to JP Morgan/Chase. Despite never having provided them with my account information, they seem to have obtained it through my monthly check payments to Chase for a credit card. After contacting Home Sure to dispute these unauthorized transactions, they denied my request for a refund. I am seeking advice from others who may have experienced similar issues with this company.
I discuvered that Home Sure Services, Inc was taking 54.95 a month from my account without my permision, I need help to resolfe this issue
The company name is Cross Country, they is selling warranties for homes.
These calls are supposedly regarding home warranties; when I called them back to request that they stop contacting me, they asked for my name and address to supposedly remove my information from their database, despite my insistence that I don't have a home warranty with them.
The relentless nature of these calls is infuriating, and it seems they will stop at nothing to achieve their goals, prompting a strong desire for them to cease.
They been callin my 80 year old great grandmother over and over, thats really annoying
It's likely that our phone number was obtained from U S Bank, despite being on the national Do Not Call List, and the bank has been unhelpful in resolving the issue, which has led us to consider closing our account due to the frequent calls and the bank's lack of responsibilty.
This company keeps calling us several times a week, they dont leave a message, they just ask us to return their call, it's really frustraiting.
It's concerning to think that my personal information may have been compromised, potentially through my bank, USBank, as this is not the first time I've experienced such an incident.
