US Document Services scam: what’s the real story?

The entire interaction was a scam, with claims of outstanding debt to Chase bank and threatened court action, which were entirely unfounded and became hostile when disputed.

Similary, I recieved a previouse call stating that a lawsuit had been filed against me in my county, which turned out to be a scam for an old bill that was well past the statute of limitations.

A similar call was received, quoting a document number and requesting a callback to 888-310-1520, which is clearly spam.

This is a scam from India, where they threaten to file a complaint and demand money to be wired

I also received the identical message.

A voicemail was left with a transcription that stated:

They try to scare you by saying you have a pending legal matter, but its all a ruse, they just want you to call them back, and then they'll ask for money, dont fall for it, its a scam, process servers dont call ahead, they just serve the papers

They called me saying i owed money from 19 years ago on a US Bank credit card, which is totally a scam, and they somehow got my date of birth and ssn, thats the problem

The call, presumed to originate from India, was another scam attempt, which was handled by engaging with the caller until they became aggressive and terminated the call.

Scammers have been calling my mom, asking for me and referencing my children, even providing a fake case number.

From Danville, PA, a caller with a heavy Indian accent instructed to contact US document services at 888-310-1520 with a provided 4-digit reference number, but upon calling, the experience suggested scamming, particularly after being transferred and told of computer issues, leading to the conclusion that J and O financial was involved in the scam.

A call was recieved from an individual claiming to be "John", stating that a complaint had been filed against my deceased father, and requesting that I call a specific number to prevent further action, which seemed like a scam, particually given the heavy Indian accent on the voicemail.

A person rang me, claiming they were looking for my mom but fail to provide a company name or any other details, they gave a case number tho

On 3/14/24, I recieved a call from this number claiming to be U.S. documents services, they gave me a reference number and told me to call another number, but wouldn't say what it was about.

I recieved a call from a number claming to be from US Document Services, they were looking for my husband and had a very thick indian accent, they provided a reference number and a number to call back.
