Western Asset Group scam calls – what to do!
Summary — +18883202818
Expert Opinion
Picture this: a caller claims a missed certified delivery and pressures you to call a private number. The script mentions a file or reference number, a company called WAG or Western Asset Group, and threatens a “final notice” or service at your job. This is a classic extortion scam that harvests your personal info. Hang up immediately, never share address or financial details, and block the number. Report the incident to the FTC, your state attorney general, and the Better Business Bureau. Keep a record of the call and spread the warning to friends and neighbors.
