Cynthia Green scam call—what to watch out for!
Summary — +18883446195
Expert Opinion
Like a wolf in sheep’s clothing, these calls pose as student‑aid assistance, promising income‑driven repayment relief you never asked for. They usually come from unrelated area codes and use a prerecorded robocall voice that mentions a generic “Cynthia Green” from a non‑existent Graduate Support service. Because the script repeats across many numbers, a legitimate organization is unlikely. If you get this message, hang up, verify any claimed eligibility directly with your school's financial‑aid office, and never call the 888‑number. Block the caller through your carrier or a spam‑filter app, and report the number to the FTC / FCC.

I received a call from 319-308-4025, featuring a recorded message from someone claiming to be Cynthia Green, representing Graduate Support Services. The message stated that I was eligible for an income-driven repayment plan, but I had not completed the necessary paperwork, and prompted me to call 888-344-6195. A robocall from Cynthia claimed I was eligible for an income-driven program, but no company name was provided, and the call seemed suspicious.
