Scam Alert: Free Camera Offer From Unknown Caller!
Summary — +18885764289
Expert Opinion
Like a wolf in sheep’s clothing, the message from +1‑888‑576‑4289 dresses itself in ADT branding to lure homeowners into a bogus 5G upgrade. The text claims a free doorbell or camera if you reply “upgrade,” but the sender is actually a third‑party outfit posing as a reputable security firm. Never share personal info or confirm appointments without first contacting the official company using a known number. Verify any upgrade offers directly with ADT’s customer service, and block the number if it persists. Report the scam to the FTC and your phone carrier to help curb these deceptive campaigns.
