Expert Opinion
This number, +18885764289, is a scam designed to trick people into scheduling in-home appointments for supposed ADT system upgrades. The texts claim your alarm system needs to be updated to 5G and offer free cameras or doorbells. However, these messages are not from ADT, and the individuals who show up often misrepresent themselves as ADT employees. Users who followed up with ADT directly found out the company did not send these texts. If you receive such a message, verify it by contacting ADT through their official customer support number. Don’t schedule appointments or provide any personal information until you’ve confirmed the legitimacy of the request. Stay vigilant and report any suspicious activity to ADT and your local authorities.
