It seems that these callers aim to frustrate people, but in the grand scheme of life, a few annoying phone calls are minor, and one solution is to simply turn off the ringer or use a phone with a flashing feature when it rings.
I have received multiple missed calls from this number, and it seems likely that it is an automatic dialer attempting to solicit sales or services.
I have been subjected to repeated calls from this number during prohibited hours, both before 8am and after 9pm. Following days of incessant calls at all hours, I decided to investigate the name "ECON WEALTH" that appeared on my caller ID. Upon attempting to contact their business, I was met with no response, leading me to send an email instead. They responded to my complaint with yet another call, this time with the caller ID reading "Financial ECON", claiming that their system had been hacked and was being used to make prank calls. They maintained that they were powerless to stop these calls, categorizing it as a "consumer complaint". What's puzzling is how this company, now referred to as ECON FINANCIAL (despite their website clearly stating they are ECON WEALTH), obtained my phone number, given that I have no prior dealings with them. Their inability to halt these calls, purportedly resulting from their own system's breach, is disappointing. Thus, I am writing this complaint in the hope that it may lead to the cessation of these harassing calls.
I have been receiving calls from this number intermittently over the past week, which appears as 'Econ Wealth' on caller ID, supposedly associated with Wells Fargo Bank, but I am skeptical about its legitimacy.
