Scam callers posing as the United Bureau of Investigation
Summary — +19042393968
Expert Opinion
Caution: callers using the name of a United Bureau of Investigation are employing classic fraud tactics to intimidate victims. They often claim you owe money, threaten legal action, and even quote your Social Security number to appear legitimate. Never share personal information such as SSNs, bank details, or home address over the phone, especially when the caller is aggressive or vague. Hang up, block the number, and document the call. File a complaint with the FTC and your state attorney general, and alert your employer’s security team. Using a call‑blocking app and verifying any alleged debt with the original creditor can also stop the harassment.
