Yesterday, August 9, 2011, I received a call from this number, with the caller claiming to be a cousin, but fortunately, my mom was present and recognized it as a scam, promptly hanging up.

Repeated calls from this number claim to be from family members in Mexico who need financial assistance. However, the story changes with each call, with the caller posing as a different relative each time. What's alarming is their knowledge of my name and some details about my family in Mexico. Once I probed further, it became clear it was a scam. It's advisable to ignore calls from this number to avoid harassment.
