A scam text from this person asked me to return a call regarding a pending case
Scam alert: fake legal threats you need to stop

Expert Opinion
Imagine getting a call about a pending lawsuit you’ve never heard of. The voice claims to be a process server or debt collector, drops a reference number and urges you to call a toll‑free line immediately. This pattern shows classic scam tactics: create a false sense of urgency, cite legal jargon, and request a callback to an unknown number. Never share personal info or make payments before confirming the case with the actual court. Hang up, block the number, and report it to the FTC or your state consumer agency. Keep records of the call and let a trusted attorney review any legitimate documents.

Recent Reports for (928) 394-9475
It appears to be a blatant case of false information, as the claims made are from a time when I hadn't lived in MO for over 20 years. Upon confrontation, the individual failed to provide basic details such as company name, address, or direct phone number, instead opting to transfer the call to their superior, who remains unreachable. Subsequent calls and texts from unlisted numbers, 9283949475 and 8332357798, only serve to solidify the suspicion of a scam.
