The most effective course of action now is to block such numbers, as legitimate entities respect the Do Not Call list, and my block list has significantly reduced the frequency of spam calls I receive.

A car warranty scam was attempted from this number, disregarding the fact that the vehicle is old and has never had a warranty after the initial one expired, and that the number is on the do not call list.
I've recieved multiple calls from this number, they claim my Google buisness listing is flagged for removel, but everythin is up to date, I think they are just trying to sell some advertising package, a bunch of nonsence

On thursday 4/13/17 at 1:01pm, i recieved a scammer call from a VoIP number in Whitestone, NY, they didnt leave a message on my unlisted phone number, i reported it to DONOTCALL.GOV and FCC.GOV
Now you see that all you did was confirm that sombody on the other end will listen to a message and press any numbber they are told to press, so expect alot more calls, not less, becouse these peoples dont care about the law
