Block repeat callers immediately. These inbound calls repeatedly play a scripted message asking you to press 1 to join a “do‑not‑call” list, which actually confirms your number to fraudsters. They often disguise themselves as warranty, survey, or service agents and rely on the curiosity of the recipient. Let your carrier enable call‑blocking and report the number to the FCC / DoNotCall registry. Use a reputable spam‑filter app that can automatically reject numbers with the same voice prompt. Never press any keys during such calls; hanging up is the safest move. Regularly update your block list to stay ahead of rotating spoof IDs.
Within the space of one minute, i recieved two calls from this number, which i chose not to answer
After being contacted by this number during class, I plan to call back and spam them in response, having read the reports from others.
Upon receiving four consecutive missed calls from this number within a minute, my phone only vibrated briefly twice. When I returned the call, an automated message offered to add me to a do not call list, which I found quite perplexing.
I was too afraid to answer the call.
Recieved a call on my cell, no message was left, so I called back from my buisness phone, and a message instructed me to press 1 to be placed on a do not call list, wich I did, and was told to allow 48 hrs for the request to be procesed, its clearly a scam, no legit company operats like this
The call was made, but there was no conversation or message left.
Upon answering the call, there was only silence, and when I called back, I was given the option to be added to a do-not-call list
