Is Marissa Martin really calling about your student loans?

Initially, I was confusd about the call I recieved regarding a new student loan forgivness program, it seemed too good to be true, especialy since nobody I knew had heard about it, now I'm unsure if I made a mistake by calling them back.

A virtually identical call was received last week, with the same script being used except for a variation in the phone number, and the woman's voice claimed to be Jessica Nixon.

I've also been targeted by Marissa Martin, who's trying to obtain my loan information - a clear scam that should be avoided.

I received the same call, in which they inquired about a PPP loan I had taken out last year. However, since my accountant is handling the loan forgiveness process and has assured me that he will be in direct contact if needed, I believe this to be a scam. I did not return their call, and I advise others not to provide any personal information. It seems that they are targeting individuals who have received financial assistance during the COVID-19 pandemic, and caution is advised.

The same message and callback number were used, but the call originated from a different number, 312-931-5747, which highlights the issue of robo-calling and spam calls.

A series of voicemails, all featuring the same prerecorded message, were left on different dates, with each message attributing the call to a different individual, which raises concerns about the legitimacy of these calls.

I took a loan forbearance for a couple of months and now these idiots keep calling me, talking about student loans and forbearance, what a load of BS.

The scam is evident as multiple individuals have received the same voicemail with an identical approval code, indicating a lack of effort to personalize the scam, and it's advisable to block the number and avoid callback.

This call appears to be a phishing attempt, disguising itself as an SBA loan forgiveness initiative, similar to what others have reported.

The message received is identical to others classified as scams.
