Dollar General advertising scam: what to watch for!
Summary — +19842432458
Expert Opinion
Late Tuesday evening, a series of calls claiming to represent Dollar General’s advertising program hit several local businesses. Callers often use a virtual dialer and a scripted pitch that mentions fast‑track payment terms, which is a classic red flag. Before sharing any financial details, ask for a verifiable business email, a contract copy, and a direct phone number that you can call back. Hang up if the person pressures you for an immediate payment request or refuses to provide written proof. Consider enabling call‑blocking features, reporting the number to the FTC, and educating staff about caller ID spoofing tactics.
