I think they just throw all the nums in a machine, and it just calls random people. If u answer, u get put on some list, and then u start gettin calls from all these other companys.
These companys like BANKINTER CONSUM are prob usin this number 001999999999 for somethin, maybe its a data managment thingy. Whenever you give em your info, you start gettin these calls, try it out and see. The reason is probly that the person in charge is an idiot and dont no how to handle the info. Best thing to do is dont give em your info and if you start gettin calls, report it to the cops so they can do somethin about it.
