A suspicious recording with an Indian dialect was played, and background noise sounded like a public area

Initially, a call from a private number resulted in complete silence, followed by an outburst, and eventually a female voice bid farewell, making the experience feel quite unsettling and potentially a Microsoft scam or vandalism
Following a series of strange calls, the first one caught my attention when a woman's voice murmured an unsettling "goodbye". Later, they rang again, claiming to be from a security center and asking about having a Windows computer. Upon responding that we only use Macs, they hung up abruptly.

I can confirm that this is a scam: they call, claiming your computer has an issue, and ask you to check the event viewer for errors, then request remote access via logmein123.com; I've played along a few times but don't know what they do next
Around 10 this morning, and roughly two days ago, a call was received from someone claiming to be an English-speaking individual of Indian descent, instructing the recipient to turn on their computer; when refused, the caller hung up abruptly, and subsequent calls were met with silence or an automated goodbye message, prompting desperation to halt these calls
