Welsprekende beller het gesê Standard Bank het ongewone transaksie-aktiwiteit op my rekening opgespoor. Hy het my naam en ID-nommer geken. Hy wou weet of ek my kaart/e wil blokkeer. Hy belowe om 'n SMS met saaknommer en ander inligting te stuur. Hy het my gedruk om vinnig inligting oor my rekening te gee sodat die kaart geblokkeer en 'n nuwe een uitgereik kan word. Ek het gesê ek sal eers my rekenings nagaan en dan Standard Bank terugbel. Hy het dadelik die oproep verbreek. Standard Bank se Bedrogafdeling het bevestig dis 'n vishing-poging, en hulle sal die nommer rapporteer en ondersoek.
