Is a survey hiding a telemarketing scam? Find out!

Expert Opinion
Oddly, the same digits keep popping up as both survey invitations and silent drops, which usually signals a call‑centre using verification calls before pitching something. Callers rarely identify themselves, and a few even pretend to be your mobile provider or a bank, a classic hallmark of scam. Never share personal details or passwords on unsolicited calls, especially if the caller can’t name a legit company. Hang up, block the number, and report it to the communications regulator or your carrier. If the call claims a survey, verify the organization independently before participating. Staying skeptical and keeping a call‑log helps cut down the nuisance.

Hi, does anyone recognize this phone? Daily missed calls show up on my device, no clue who's behind it, and nothing online about it. I called back naturally, but no one picked up. Feels like a one-sided scam... Probably a marketer?

Received multiple rings from this number over the week. A few were silent, the initial one involved a woman requesting a survey with my supervisor. Today, the same line rang wanting my boss; upon inquiring about the topic, he refused to explain and simply insisted on connecting her. I suggested calling later in the day, and he abruptly ended the call.
Lady wanted to run a survey. Missed the company name. Claimed it's a public poll (10 minutes). Skipped it, said work doesn't allow personal calls.
