Just got a call from someone with a dodgy Chinese or Asian accent, claiming to be from Tierra Marketing Group in Hong Kong, mate.
Tierra marketing group scam calls – what to watch out for!
Summary — +31280577145
Expert Opinion
The calls from +31280577145 are almost certainly a investment scam run by a telemarketing outfit. Callers speak English with a vague Asian accent, claim to be from a firm called Tierra Marketing Group and push high‑profit financial schemes, often asking for your email or personal details. They’ll try to sound professional, sometimes even insulting you if you request removal. Never share personal data, never send money, and block the number. If they keep calling, report the number to your phone provider and to the relevant fraud authority. A quick Google search of the name usually flags it as a scam.

Junk call
Fellow rang from Poland. I've gotten like this before from various country codes. Pushing 'bank investments with big returns.' It's a Philippine call centre :)
English-speaking woman wanted my email for investment purposes. Seemed fishy...
In our instance, it was an English-speaking individual by the name of Carlo Mendoza
Same Tierra marketing outfit, ended with a disconnect
A man with an English accent (possibly Asian?) from the company Tierra refused to explain the purpose, insisting on speaking to the director. He said 'I'll ring back later.' I searched the number online and found this forum, learning it's about investments... Next time he calls, I'll brush him off quickly!
Marketing telecall
Couldn't work out her true intentions. She attempted to contact the manager but didn't succeed.
UNWANTED
Junk calls, sales pitches over the line.
Nuisance sales over the phone
Hello, calling from South Africa here—this number rang me loads of times. When I nicely requested removal from their list, got a "f**k you" before they dropped the line... <br />Incredible!!!!
Un appel d'un homme s'exprimant en anglais m'est parvenu, il cherchait à vendre des investissements financiers et se documentait sur son interlocuteur avant de composer le numéro. Il persiste et propose un contact par courriel.
