During a call from this number today, an attempt was made to sell an advertisement, with a request to pay €399 for a standard service that was never ordered. The caller asked if I wanted to upgrade and answer questions, ultimately inquiring about my consent. I found it suspicious that they required verbal confirmation over the phone, given the uncertainty of the caller's identity. I suggested they send an email instead, as I would not confirm anything verbally.

Scammers claiming a listing in 'de regiogids' for hundreds of euros per year, despite denials they insist the information is correct, utterly ridiculous and a waste of time

Wat ik kreeg was een acquisitiefraude: ze belt over een zogenaamd ‘vermelding in de regiogids (plaatsnaam)’, beweren dat die niet meer mag zonder een basisvermelding van €395, en vragen om bevestiging. Ze gebruiken namen als Dennis en Lianne, beweren van regionalegids.nl of regiogids.nl te zijn, maar de sites tonen niets. Ik heb dit al gemeld bij de Fraude‑Helpdesk en ga aangifte doen zodra ze een factuur sturen of blijven bellen, volgens BW‑artikelen 44 en 228. Echt kut, hè?

Clearly a scammer, they call to ask if you want to extend your subscription and when you say no, they give you a ridicolous story that you have to see it through this year. As soon as you start to disagree, they hang up. What a pathetic intension

Apparently, they call annually regarding the regional guide, but we have made it clear we want no listing and never will; it's unfortunate that some individuals rely on such endeavors for a living, making it essential to be vigilant and keep them at bay
