PayPal call: genuine help or phishing trap?

Between June 2 and 3, I had a conversation with Fashion Nova, who informed me that my order had been returned to their headquarters and that they couldn't provide a refund, but instead offered to pay me with a gift card. Since May 14, DHL had indicated that my order was canceled. I had placed the order on April 1, expecting it to arrive within 7 days, but it seems that Fashion Nova is unreliable. On June 3, I contacted PayPal to complain about my missing order and their refusal to refund my money, instead offering a gift card of the same value. On June 7, I received a call from this number, and a reassuring woman asked about my experience and ensured that I understood the procedure. Although I was skeptical, no personal information was requested. On June 13, I found that the dispute had been resolved in my favor on the PayPal website, and I received a Fashion Nova gift card, which is likely fake based on online reviews. On June 14, PayPal refunded the full amount to my card.
