Dopo un tentativo di transazione fallito su eBay con Postepay, ho ricevuto un SMS da questo numero. È stato richiesto di confermare se avessi tentato un acquisto di 1750€ su eBay. Lo scopo era di prevenire frodi. La transazione non era andata a buon fine, quindi ho risposto 'SI' e riprovato; questa volta ha funzionera. Ho verificato il numero su Tellows e sembra sicuro. Rispondendo 'SI', ho riattivato la transazione che è stata completata. Peccato che Poste non abbia trovato un sistema migliore, considerando che con Postepay ci sono già molte app disponibili.
Posso confermare che si tratta di un SMS di Poste Italiane per verificare acquisti su e-commerce esteri. Non ci sono link su cui cliccare, né nulla che possa rubare i tuoi dati (tra l'altro, i dati forniti sono oscurati ****1234). Forse Poste Italiane dovrebbe essere più chiara nell'informare i clienti su questo servizio SMS di verifica aggiuntiva, ma è comunque positivo che esista.
