Dollar Panels scam calls – how to stop them!
Summary — +441134199950
Expert Opinion
Oddly enough, the same landline keeps popping up in countless complaints about unsolicited solar and green‑energy pitches. Most callers claim to offer free home‑improvement grants, yet the tone is often aggressive and the offers sound too good to be true. Scam tactics include repeated ringing, impersonating a legitimate energy firm and even confirming personal details before hanging up. Treat any unexpected call about solar panels, boiler upgrades or grants with scepticism – verify the company independently and never share banking information. Use your phone’s built‑in spam filter, register the number with the TPS and report persistent telemarketing abuse to the police cyber‑crime unit. A quick block and a report can stop the nuisance before it eats up your time and peace of mind.

Apparently related to a boiler advice centre.
Utilising Google's call screening feature, the caller hung up, strongly indicating that this was an unwanted marketing or spam call, leading me to block the number.
Used call screening, and they hung up. Likely spam or marketing; number now blocked.
Got an unsolicited ring from this number, no voicemail left. Likely junk, so I ignored it.

To combat silent, scam, and abusive calls and texts, it's essential to report them to the authorities using the system set up by the police, which can be found on the 'police.uk' website by searching for 'action fraud' and following the reporting process.
The post below outlines how to access police systems designed for reporting all scam attempts and numbers. Using TPS or blocking these scam numbers offers limited assistance. The predominantly foreign criminal gangs behind these scams will persist in calling using millions of computer-generated genuine or fake UK landline and mobile numbers. Report every scam attempt directly to the cyber crime police and let them handle it. Then share your experience on this site to inform others about the scam. Assist the police in their work, aid the vulnerable and uninformed, and help everyone by reporting all suspected scam calls. Also, check out the Channel 5 programme ‘Phone Scams – Don’t Get Caught’ on Catch Up. Quite frightening!
The police have set up a system, NFIB, to make it easy for the public to report scam and 'silent' calls, i was informed about this when i complained to my MP about the volume of scam calls, scammers dont want people to know about this, so its essential to report these incidents
In order to tackle these scam calls and texts which cause alot of distress, the posts below should be checked, they contain informations about scams and how to report them, the police need to be aware of the extent of these scam attempts that occure in the UK daily
There are alot of iffy looking posts on this feed, and with all the energy saving scams around, I've reported it to action fraud, who will investigae if necesary, but they only look into potential scam numbers if there are hundreds of reports about it, aparently.
