After repeated rings I eventually picked up, only to hear someone yelling about mould in my home, drowned by a chorus of what seemed like dozens of Indian voices on the line. The call displayed a Leeds area code yet sounded like a cramped overseas call centre. I have no idea how they obtained my number, but it felt like a scam, so I blocked it.
