Despite appearing authentic with the Markets.com logo and the CFO's signature, it was riddled with typos, suggesting their legal department lacks proper French speakers. A call to Markets.com confirmed that Mr. Laffont is not affiliated with them and actually works for VIP-Markets-Platform, a company flagged by the Belgian regulator.
