Expert Opinion
Ever wondered why that unsolicited call from a Bristol number leaves you uneasy? These persistent callers often peddle scams related to loft insulation or energy advice, using silence or recorded messages to hook you in. Reports highlight hang-ups, no messages on answerphones, and abrupt disconnections when challenged—classic scam tactics to waste no time on uninterested parties. Don't engage; simply block the number to avoid further hassle. If curious, verify claims independently via official sources like Ofgem, but remember, genuine advisors rarely cold-call like this. Stay vigilant to protect against potential fraud attempts.
