They hid behind this number, claiming to be from an energy supplier operating in my area. When I asked for their specific postcode, they evaded, merely stating they serve the same district I live in. They soon gave up the conversation.
A call came through on our landline from this number, even though the line is unlisted and known only to close family and essential services. Our Call Guardian prompts callers to state their name and purpose before we can accept, but the person hung up straight away, refusing to identify themselves. Clearly a scam, now added to our blacklist.
