Calls came from a foreign‑accented scammer claiming to represent a PPI compensation scheme, saying I was owed £2,997. Three calls were made last week from different numbers but with the same scam.
They claimed to represent a household consumer survey firm. Several Boston numbers with slight digit variations have been ringing me repeatedly, despite me asking them to stop. The caller, with a pronounced Indian accent, introduced himself as Dan – which I found dubious.
He introduced himself as John from Sky, speaking with a strong Indian accent.
