PPI Scam Alert: Fake Claims Incoming!
Summary — +441205540731
Expert Opinion
Patterns in these reports reveal a mix of aggressive tactics, from fake identities with mismatched accents to abrupt hang-ups via automated messages. Callers often pose as reps from trusted entities like Sky or PPI schemes, pushing surveys or compensation claims to extract details. Repeated calls from similar Boston area codes suggest a harassment operation, possibly scammers testing lines or fishing for responses. The strong foreign accents clashing with British names like John or Dan point to offshore boiler rooms. To counter this, register with the Telephone Preference Service, screen unknowns, and report to Action Fraud if details are solicited. Never share personal info—block and ignore for peace of mind.

Calls came from a foreign‑accented scammer claiming to represent a PPI compensation scheme, saying I was owed £2,997. Three calls were made last week from different numbers but with the same scam.
They claimed to represent a household consumer survey firm. Several Boston numbers with slight digit variations have been ringing me repeatedly, despite me asking them to stop. The caller, with a pronounced Indian accent, introduced himself as Dan – which I found dubious.
He introduced himself as John from Sky, speaking with a strong Indian accent.
