Following a string of similar calls from the 0121 area code last week, I opted to block this number as it appears to be a scam, given that the caller was engaged with another party when I attempted to answer.
The decision not to answer this call was made after researching the number online, which suggested a possible scam
Pretending to be from O2, they asked for my card details. Later, another call requested the recovery code from O2 and instructed me to ignore the fraud warning. It's definitely a scam.
