Elderly mum harassed by calls

they call me 6 time's in 2 week's, i get very angry

Rang me today (24/02/2017) at 17:50. Asian male asking security questions before explaining the purpose. I told him he should know who I am since he called me. I'm on TPS and mentioned that I shouldn't receive cold calls. He then disconnected.

0121 8033168 stated they wanted to verify details of a car accident I supposedly had. When I asked what details they had (which I never had), they hung up. Clearly, they are just hoping someone will say yes...

After answering, I was met with silence, then a person with a Birmingham accent said hello and hung up, clearly a nuisance caller that needs to be stopped

On 22/12/16 at approximately 10:40, I received a call from someone alleging to be from Aviva Insurance, inquiring about an accident. The individual began asking numerous personal questions, prompting me to express discomfort, as they should already have the necessary information. When I requested their number to call back, they became verbally abusive, using profanity. I ended the call. The caller had a male Asian accent. Since then, my entire office has received calls from this number.

My approach to unfamiliar numbers is to answer and then place the phone aside, which usually prompts the caller to hang up and not call back, a tactic that has proven effective in deterring them.

Upon answering, the caller simply hung up

Recieved a call claiming to be from an accident help line, however I had not been involved in any accident, and as a registered TPS member, I informed them of this and they promptly ended the call, the caller's english was poor and it was clear they were operating from a call centre enviroment.

Persistent nuisance calls from an accident helpline. Despite repeated requests to remove my number and being on TPS, they keep calling, sometimes multiple times a day.

This is the second time today I've been called, isnt it time BT did somthing about these callers, I'm ex directory and they are driving me mad

This number called four of our office lines multiple times, inquiring about an accident I had supposedly been in (which I haven't). I told the lady with an Indian accent that she must have the wrong person, claiming I had died in my last accident. There was a long pause, and she simply responded with "Oh" before hanging up. I enjoy messing with these callers :)

Received a call today at 12:17. The caller said 'hell' three times but made no other sound. I hung up feeling worried and upset.

Upon recieving a call from this number, it becomes apparent they will terminate the connection without engaging in conversation if an answerphone is in use.

My work phone rang, and I was met with an odd conversation from what sounded like an Asian male who made inappropriate comments. I told him when I was available and then hung up when he asked for my mobile number.

A call was made to my home phone, inquiring about accidents, and the conversation took an inappropriate turn when my dad responded sarcastically

This is the sixth call to my landline in two weeks. I lost my temper, told them to remove my number or face a harassment report. He asked me to stop shouting, so I screamed at him to leave me alone. Satisfying, but infuriating.

Repeatedly, my 83-year-old mother has been called about a non-existent car accident, despite her telling them she's never driven, and these calls are causing her undue distress - BT should take action to stop this harassment
