This morning, I received a call from this number, claiming that £365 would be deducted from my account for a TV protection service I allegedly signed up for in February 2023, despite never having purchased such a service; the caller had my address, but I terminated the call before they could reveal any further information.

Expert Opinion
Like a wolf in sheep's clothing, this number masquerades as legitimate customer service but preys on the unwary with tales of phantom insurance policies. Callers, often with thick foreign accents, push for payments on bogus TV protection plans or home care services, demanding card details or direct debits for sums up to £365. Victims report persistent harassment, even targeting the bereaved or those on the TPS register, with no regard for privacy. Block the number immediately and report to Action Fraud to stem the tide. Never share financial info—hang up and verify independently via official channels. If pressured, note details for authorities; staying vigilant keeps scammers at bay.
