Expert Opinion
Continuous calls from this number leave recipients frustrated and wary, often without leaving messages or hanging up abruptly. These appear to be fraudulent attempts targeting former timeshare owners, falsely claiming outstanding fees or legal changes from companies like Diamond Resorts or Hilton. Scammers pose as support groups or court representatives to extract payments or personal details. Block the number immediately via your phone or provider to stop further harassment. Register with the Telephone Preference Service if not already done, and report to Action Fraud for investigation. Never share financial information over unsolicited calls—verify claims directly with official sources. Use call-blocking apps for added protection against such nuisances.

Someone claimed to be from the Diamond Resort membership team, asking how we felt about our membership. When I told them we had no issues and weren’t looking to take legal action – which we get asked about all the time – they hung up, right.
Got a call claiming I owed maintenance fees from my old Diamond Resorts membership. I left the chain 13 years ago after my husband passed, with paperwork to prove it. Proper annoying scam, mate.
A timeshare fraud.
On Friday morning I got a ring, stepped away to answer, got no message, tried again half an hour later with the same result. Reading the threads shows it’s a timeshare scam, so I blocked the number.
Usually I ignore unknown callers because I never share my landline, but I decided to pick up this time and got nothing on the other end – they just hung up, anyway.
These are classic timeshare scammers, plain and simple.
They popped up on my BT blocker labelled "Diamond owners support group" – absolute bollocks. I didn’t take the call and blocked them straight away. Classic timeshare con, mate.
At 13:44 I got a ring from this number. I never pick up unknown calls and let them hit voicemail. No message left, and, as I suspected, it’s a timeshare scam. Number blocked, cheers.
A second ring from the same number came today; I didn’t pick up and no voicemail was left. I’m on the TPS list, so I have no interest and have blocked the line.
Someone phoned to claim Hilton had taken over Diamond Resorts and that I was still on the hook for annual maintenance fees, even though I cancelled my membership over six years ago. My legal adviser says the claim is invalid after that time – pure scammers – and they never called back, yeah.
Timeshare fraudsters.
A call linked to a timeshare scam.
He introduced himself as being from Diamond and said Hilton were altering fixed‑week policies. When he realised I was knowledgeable, he hung up, claiming Hilton would charge me £20,000 for a fixed week (I own three) starting September this year.
I managed to scare my husband into thinking that ASHGV had taken over Diamond Resorts and that our contract’s exit clause would change, mate.
He said the European Court handed him my number over a timeshare issue. When I asked for written proof to forward to my solicitor, he cut the line.
The caller claimed the European Court gave him my number for timeshare advice, but I told him I wasn’t buying it and he hung up.
The call came on the morning of 23 April 2024, but CallGuard swooped in and cut it off, so the caller hung up. Obviously a cheat, innit?
BT’s call blocker flagged it as "Nuisance", so I let it go straight to voicemail. Nice work, BT.
It sounded like some Indian chatter, not a Bridlington twang at all. Proper odd.
