The experience was unsettling as the caller possessed knowledge of my name and address, claiming to be related to my washing machine warranty and seeking to establish a direct debit

After ansering the call, the person asked to speak to someone, but hung up when I responded, I immediatly blocked the number, it was clear it was a scam and I didnt want to give them any more informations

Dont know how they got my mobile number, dont give it out to just anyone, blocked them, they use another number, need to shut them down, been called on my landline before, knew my name, but its not in my name, and not on directory, i am on tps too

It became apparent that a series of calls, including one from a woman conducting a home survey, were actually gathering intelligence for potential scams, prompting me to be cautious and hang up without providing any information.

The purpose of the call was to discuss a matter related to a washing machine.

The caller claimed to be from Homeserve, referencing my washer, but had incorrect information about the make and I've never registered for a manufacturer warranty

I received a call from a scammer who claimed my washing machine, allegedly located at a former address, was no longer under warranty; I informed them I did not own such a machine and they promptly ended the call

After blocking the number, they continue to reach out using different numbers.

Obvioulsy a scam, we reconise the voice, it sound like the same dude
