No message was left, which is suspicious - all my genuine contacts are saved with names, and my provider usually flags scam calls; beware of these pests

It's my policy to avoid answering unfamiliar numbers, and a quick check on this site revealed it to be a scam

This well-known scam involves a man, recently identifying himself as 'Stephen', claiming to represent Carphone Warehouse, which he falsely claims is a division of Curry's, aiming to sell phone upgrades - a claim disputed by Curry's fraud department, who confirm Carphone Warehouse does not engage in cold calling and advise against providing personal details, as the promised phone will not be delivered; it is recommended to block the number and report to Action Fraud.

This number has been identified as a scam and blocked accordingly.

Received a call from this number claiming to be a Carphone Warehouse representative. They were persistent in asking for my details to offer a better phone upgrade, but I sensed something was off and refused to provide any information.

They rang pretending to be from Carphone Warehouse, saying my phone contract had expired and asked for my details. I realised it was a scam and hung up.

The caller was pretending to be from Car Telephone Warehouse, but I got suspisous when they asked for my email adress, I didnt give it to them, presumably they would of asked for my bank details next

The number 01306 319020 claims to be Carpon Warehouse, sounds like a fake company trying to get your details, they were also quite rude

A scammer claimed to be from 'head office', which is clearly a ridiculous and unconvincing attempt at deception.
