It was when he inquired about my card details that I sensed something was off. It could have been easy to fall for it, especially since we do have washing machine insurance. The questions were cleverly designed to extract information, such as asking if they should add my name to the policy along with my partner's, what my name is, whether I was using the visa debit or mastercard on file, and to confirm the expiry date. Please stay vigilant, everyone.

A male caller rang a few minutes ago, speaking slowly, claiming to be covering the insurance on our washing machine, but I told him it was already taken care of, and he put the phone down, bit of a harassing call, but easily dealt with, he sounded quite convinving at first.
