Expert Opinion
The number +441313815719 has been widely reported as a source of harassing and potentially dangerous calls, primarily linked to energy-related scams. Multiple users have described receiving unsolicited calls from individuals or automated systems claiming to represent Green Energy or similar entities. These callers often assert that the recipient has "opted in" for information or expressed interest in services like solar panels or loft insulation, despite no such engagement. The calls frequently involve prerecorded messages or individuals asking intrusive questions, such as property ownership or age, before abruptly ending the conversation if the recipient falls outside their target demographic.
The repetitive nature of these calls, coupled with the lack of legitimate follow-up or meaningful communication, strongly suggests a scam operation. Users have noted that the calls often originate from unfamiliar area codes, further raising suspicions. The consensus among recipients is to block the number and avoid engaging with the callers. This pattern aligns with known robo-calling tactics used by fraudulent energy companies to gather personal information or mislead individuals into unnecessary agreements.
