Earlier today, I received a call about my television. The caller was pushing some kind of insurance. Even when I told them I had no idea what TV they were referring to, they persisted. They also didn't back off when I repeatedly asked if they were trying to sell me something. I mentioned TPS, and eventually, they gave up.
0131 563 0964 called today. The caller, who said his name was Sam, knew the elderly person's name but was intercepted by a family member. Sam repeatedly asked for the interceptor's name and wouldn't explain his purpose or who he represented, except mentioning a TV issue. We disconnected the call, believing it to be a scam targeting the elderly.
