Having received three calls from this unknown number in the past week, I strongly suspect it to be a scam.
Apparently a debt scam, so it's best to avoid returning their call
BPO is a legitimate debt collection agency. They handle overdue payments by helping set up repayment plans. The staff are very approachable.

They are looking for peoples to hire, like head hunters
Following the advise of another user, I told the caller that the person they were trying to reach didnt live there, but suprisingly, they contiuned to call, even after I informed them that they had the wrong number, which makes me believe they are low-life scammers, geting a proper job would be a good idear.
An automated message was left on the answerphone, falsely claiming that the internet would be disconnected by BT.
