O2 impersonation scam – protect yourself now!
Summary — +441415010280
Expert Opinion
Oddly enough, the pattern of silent drops and abrupt hangs suggests a classic robocall scam rather than a legitimate service. Callers repeatedly claim to be O2 or a home‑improvement firm, often timing their outreach to sensitive moments like the Queen’s funeral, which heightens distress. The safest move is to let the call go to voicemail, then block the number and report it to Ofcom’s spam‑call registry. Avoid sharing personal details, especially voice‑based verification, as these can be harvested for identity fraud. Regularly update your phone’s spam‑filter settings and inform friends, particularly vulnerable relatives, about the tactics used.
