Mystery Calls from OFWAT Imposters?
Summary — +441422774319
Expert Opinion
Calls from this number often claim to be surveys about water quality, mentioning names like OFWAT or United Utilities, but inconsistencies abound, such as wrong postcodes or odd questions about driving on a landline. One report notes a caller from BMG Research, yet most flag it as suspicious with no messages left and automatic blocks. Beware of these as potential scams; they probe for personal details without knowing basic facts like occupant names. Block the number straight away, register with the Telephone Preference Service to cut nuisance calls, and never share info over unsolicited lines—report to Action Fraud if pressed for details.
