Expert Opinion
It appears that the caller with the number +441423205226 is likely involved in a scam, targeting individuals who have entered TV competitions, particularly word searches. The caller claims the person has won a prize and requests a small payment for postage, often £1.95. However, this initial payment can lead to further fraudulent attempts to obtain more money, such as subscriptions or additional payments. Some individuals have reported receiving packages with the prizes, but the overall suspicious nature of the calls and the attempts to obtain bank details suggest caution. It is essential to be wary of such calls and not provide personal or financial information.

After entering an ITV word search competition, I received a suspicious call from a woman who knew my entry and answer, and asked me to pay £1.95 for postage for a supposed prize
Having been a customer since October 2024, I can confidently say this company is legitimate, which is more than can be said for many others, and they do read out the terms and conditions at the start of the call
Thanks to this page, I've discovered that this number is a scam after it rang me multiple times.
For several days, this number has been calling, claiming to be from a TV prize giveaway, and also using another number; they claim a potential win of 12000 and try to charge for postage, but it is likely a fraudulent scam
This number has been identified as a scam.
Plenty of puzzles and prizes featured in the TV competition. They go over the t&cs during the phone call, including the subscription everyone talks about, which is also provided in your package along with instructions if needed (though I doubt anyone would). Anyone claiming they weren’t aware of the subscription clearly wasn’t paying attention during the call. You can cancel anytime, and you’re not forced to continue. The initial fee of 1.96 is for posting the items, and mine arrived within 5 days. I’ll keep using their service, and the staff are really helpful. If they weren’t trustworthy, they wouldn’t be on ITV, especially since they have to follow strict security measures.
Because it was off the telly, I thought it was safe, I entered a competition called WORDSEARCH WINNER, but now they have my bank details and keep trying to take £19.95 out of my account
