This number keep calling me on my mobile and my house phone, i beleive it's a scam from eon and i'm reporting it, they also sent me a text pretending to be eon
Contrary to popular belief, this is EON calling about meter updates. They are quite disorganized. I received a call informing me that my old meters were outdated and that they offered smart meters. I interrupted to mention that EON had installed my smart meters two weeks ago, questioning how she was unaware of this. It seems they are making calls without proper verification.
A prerecorded message was left, supposidly from eon next, regarding the replacment of expired meters, however this seems unlikley.

I've received texts supposedly from Eon Next regarding meter replacement, as well as frequent calls to my landline, which I've been ignoring; now they're calling and texting my mobile, so I'll contact Eon to report the scammers
Suspicious call pretending to be from e-on about smart meters. I checked the number and blocked it.
I let the landline ring, as nearly all such calls are scams. After the ringing stopped, there was no voicemail, no message, and no callback. A classic spam call. Checking the number on this website confrims it's a spam nuisance call.
Likely Eon next, as they’ve been spamming me through email, letters, and my online account about getting a smart meter since mine needs replacing. I’m refusing until it’s legally enforced. I pay by Direct Debit and monitor my usage with power meters. I’ve asked them to stop the spam months ago. I shared my concerns with the call handler, including my distrust in the government’s ability to remotely cut off power and their potential adoption of a social credit system similar to China’s, which is being pushed through without proper news coverage. Hold on as long as you can, everyone.
Following a call from an asian male claiming to represent E.ON Next, who wanted to replace my elecricity meter, I'm still awaiting conformation from them and suspect a posible scam due to this website's indicatations.

This number called me, but I didn’t answer as it was flagged as suspected spam.
This is genuinely from EON, but it's spam. They claim your meter must be replaced with a smart meter, which they shouldn't do. EON says they can't stop the calls. Report them to the ICO.
The call was never answered.
I deliberatly chose not to answer the call.
The caller, using the number 01443 544 969, claimed to be from Eon Next and stated that my 'old' electricity meter needed replacing. While I’m cautious about unsolicited calls, this one seemed convincing. They mentioned installing a smart meter, which I’ve avoided for years due to concerns. I told them I’ve repeatedly declined smart meters through Eon, and they offered to remove me from the list. They then asked for my name and postcode, which I provided without thinking—now I regret it. Based on other comments, this seems like a scam, and if Eon is involved, it’s unacceptable.
The phone log showed a missed call, which has now been blocked and reported
The voicemail message i recieved was about my gas meter, they said they will try again, but i just ignored it, i never contact numbers i dont recognise
The caller said it was about a meter upgrade from EON, its a scam number.
Despite my best efforts to ignore them, this persistent caller continues to bother me, having left multiple voice messages and made numerous attempts to reach me - it's best to avoid answering altogether.
