Having just recieved a call from this number, my first instinct was to check this website, and I am wondering why nothing is being done to stop these scammers, especally since they continue to target vulnerable people, its rediculous
The person on the phone said I'd commited tax fraud, and that I'd be arrested if I didn't press 1, which is compleatly rediculous
A woman with an Indian accent said she would transfer me to a chief officer, who claimed to be from HMRC, surprisingly addressing me by name, and threatening to send the police to arrest me within 24 hours if I didn't pay over the phone, but I knew it was a scam and ended the call.
