Since it's BG, it's a legitimate number, not a scam. It deserves an orange rating! I'll stick with neutral. I don't understand why BG, supplying gas through subsidiaries, can't charge less than energy companies that collect payments, take their cut, and then pay BG for the gas used. Bizarre Tory economics.

After leaving British Gas, I started recieving texts and emails offering me a 'gift' to stay with them, and then I got a call from this number, maybe someone should inform the Energy Ombudsman about this behavour.
This number has been calling me repeatedly, at least four times daily, in an effort to persuade me to remain with British Gas.
British Gas contacted me, offering some credit if I stayed with them during the switch process. The offer made me reconsider and stick with them.
A person named Majesty Onyegbu reached out to me, claiming to represent the British Gas retention team. He proposed cash repayments if I remained with the company. Following the call, I got a follow-up email, and he had already possessed my details, which was rather unsettling.
