DRS debt collector scams: What to watch out for!
Summary — +441513293649
Expert Opinion
Recent reports reveal a wave of aggressive calls from the number, most of which claim to be DRS debt collector targeting individuals with alleged unpaid balances. Callers often use automated voicemails, spoofed caller IDs, and pressure tactics like name verification prompts. The frequency—multiple daily attempts—and the shifting pretense (HMRC, eBay, insurance) suggest a coordinated scam operation rather than a legitimate agency. Recipients should let unknown numbers go to voicemail, verify any alleged debt directly with the referenced company using official contact channels, and consider adding the number to a spam blocklist. Reporting to the telecom regulator can help curb future harassment.
