Previously, I've mentioned this. They assert they're collecting a customs payment debt for DHL. I owe nothing to Customs…. HOWEVER, I did receive a parcel via DHL, and these blighters have the information. How they got it is beyond me! The initial correspondence I got, allegedly from DHL and this lot, came by post. Neither email nor phone calls were involved. It caught me off guard. You anticipate scam emails but not this (I've now received about five).

Expert Opinion
Never share personal or financial details with unsolicited callers. Scammers using the FedEx brand often claim you owe customs fees or a mysterious debt to pressure you into a quick payment. Verify any alleged debt by contacting the official company using a known number, not the one the caller provides. Block the number and report it to your phone carrier and to fraud reporting agencies. Keep records of the call, including timestamps and exact wording, in case you need to dispute the claim later. Stay skeptical of requests for credit‑card numbers, passwords, or other sensitive data, and educate others about the tactics used.

Recent Reports for 01527 549490
Update: Delivery services require customs charges to be paid before delivering parcels. Any demand after delivery is a scam. I nearly fell for it when I tried to pay on the DHL site, which didn’t recognise my code. I almost called the number on the letter but checked here first. Had I not, my bank details would have been compromised. They likely wouldn’t have stopped at 16 GBP. Stay vigilant.
I got a voicemail from the number 01527 549490 (Redditch). A male voice stated - this is an important message for Artur Simrole; this is Michael calling from Control Account representing DHL international. Please return the call at 01527 549497, quoting reference number 2728736. Thank you.
Fraudulent activity.

They called me twice this week about a DHL parcel, but I’ve never used DHL for deliveries.
During my brief visit to the UK, I received a call on my mobile from a claimed collection agency regarding an outstanding Fedex balance; they requested sensitive information about my son, including his postcode and birthday, which raised suspicions, and upon attempting to return the call, it went straight to voicemail, indicating a potential scam.
This number has been used twice this week in an attempt to collect debt for a non-existent DHL account, with the caller seeking personal information under the guise of data protection

Watching out for this number is essential, i got a random friend request on my online profile, ignored it, next day i recieved a call from this number, the two are connected, the online profile that tried friending me had a profile stating 'we buy gold' with ads for tickets to different events, other random stuff asking you to click link to pay, i searched online and the number was linked to a company dealing in gold coins, bit coins and so on, her facebook says shes from the north somewhere, the online company connected to this number claims the same, when i geo mapped the number google placed it from Mexico, after investigating further on their website i was shocked to see they had my IP adress, my mobile phone company + cable, i have reported them, passed on their information to the fraud people, they are vile evil theives!

The caller did not identify themselves but mentioned the name of a previous person I dealt with, who is known to be a scammer and psychopath. They hung up when I said no one by that name lives here.
A voicemail was left with a request to call back, knowing my name but claiming to be from a company I've never used, making the call seem irrelevant
