Dynacell Energy contacted me for an "Efficiency and Safety Check" - I hung up right away. This is a typical scare tactic to get solar panels checked and 'upgraded'. They even used my name, although the panels are under my wife's name, making it clear this was yet another unsolicited call. I’m on the TPS, indicating they are disregarding the system.
As soon as I confirmed my name, the caller immediately hung up. I’ve received similar calls from solar panel companies in Norwich offering free checks, likely gathering marketing information.

On 19/11/24 at 17:15, I received a call from an individual claiming to represent a firm offering free solar panel checks; the caller sounded English but seemed to be involved in questionable activities.
I picked up without checking (big mistake, haha), and when I asked who she was calling from, her response was unclear. I questioned how she got my number and whether I’d consented—she hung up.

This number rang on Wednesday 6th November 2024. Didn’t answer as BT flagged it as a potential nuisance. Checked online and confirmed it’s a scam.
Thanks to previous reports of this number as a scam, I blocked it after multiple calls to our landline, supposedly regarding solar services, without leaving a message.

I recognise these calls as soon as they ask 'Am I speaking to Mrs ....' since that's not my name. I have no idea how they got this number. Typically, they seem surprised when I mention solar panels, but today's scammer just hung up. I've blocked it using Fritzbot, but previously they were calling from Maidenhead. There are several of these fraudulent companies out there.
