How to stop the Julia Smith accident scam
Summary — +441612650103
Expert Opinion
The pattern here is classic insurance scam – callers claim you’ve been in a car accident you never had, introduce themselves as Julia Smith from ‘Sigma’, then disappear or hang up. They’re after personal details or a callback that can rack up charges. If you get a silent or abrupt call, let it go straight to voicemail and never share any information. Add the number to your block list, report it to the phone provider and, if you’re in the UK, forward the details to the Action Fraud website. Keep an eye on your bank statements for any unauthorised activity and stay sceptical of unsolicited claims.

It's about time authorities took action against these pesky cold calls, particularly from accident claims companies that engage in fishing expeditions, and those responsible should face imprisonment, not just shutdowns.
Predictably, this number belongs to an accident claims company attempting to fish for information. Having recently changed my phone number, it's concerning to see how quickly it's been shared; both EE and Virgin claim it wasn't them. It's high time the government took action against these cold calls, going beyond just shutting them down and instead imposing stricter penalties, including imprisonment
I have no clue who it was, as the line was silent for a moment before I ended the call
