Foreign Accent Scam Tactics Revealed
Summary — +441615240811
Expert Opinion
Under Manchester's grey skies one recent evening, reports of persistent calls from this number emerged, painting a picture of aggressive scammers at work. These nuisance callers often impersonate banks, energy firms, or telecom providers like EE, using foreign accents and vague threats of debt or fraud to extract personal details. Hang up immediately if you answer—never engage or confirm information. Blocking the number is essential, and consider registering with the Telephone Preference Service to curb unsolicited calls. If details were shared, monitor accounts closely and report to Action Fraud. Wasting their time with nonsense can deter them, but prioritise your security above all.
